Description: This beautiful antique pitcher and goblet set from the 1800s is a stunning example of English lusterware craftsmanship. The intricate floral pattern on the pitcher and blue banded design add interest and beauty. The set includes a creamer/pitcher and goblet, with an ornamental handle on the pitcher. The pitcher has a beautiful patina on the copper, reflecting an almost purple cast. There is some wear around the fattest part of the pitcher, but the inside is very good condition. There is a visible short seam inside (not a crack) where the porcelain double-over itself (see picture 9 for a close-up). The handle is in good condition and also has a patina.Dimensions: 4.25 inches tall; 5 inches wide (handle to spout); Weight: 9.2 ounces The goblet has less wear and remains highly reflective (you can see my camera in the pictures!). There is some wear on the base (underside). There is a decorative beaded band at the base of the drinking bowl.Dimensions: 4.25 inches tall; 3.5 inches wide (drinking portion); 3.75 inches at its widest; Weight: 7.3 ounces Given their age, both pieces are in very good condition!
