This early 18th century, Queen Anne period piece is done in a classic dog nose form. The back of the handle has a traditional wedding monogram of the letter W over the letters T and S. The back of the bowl has a classic rat tail design.This piece bears the lion's head erased mark for Britannia (958/1000) purity silver, a date letter m for the year 1707 and a maker's mark for George Cox.This piece in good condition for its age.
