Description: Up for your consideration is a stunning 1700’s carving from the 1700’s. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This piece has been displayed in my home for many years. It is perhaps one of my favorite pieces. But a last it is time to find it a new home. It’s most likely from Italy and probably dates to the mid to late 1700’s. A stunning piece that displays beautifully. This antique Santos statue is a beautiful piece of religious art from the 1700s. Handmade in Italy, this wooden statue features intricate carvings and paintings in a Baroque/Rococo style.
