Description: This antique covered sugar/biscuit/cracker jar from Beyer & Bock features a beautiful floral pattern of pink crocus flowers painted by hand with colors of green, yellow, pink, and gold. The lid is included and has a jar has a scalloped edge. The jar is oval-shaped with a glossy finish and measures 7.5 inches in length, 6 3/8 inches in width, and 5 inches in height. It weighs 1 lb 6 oz. This piece is an example of Art Nouveau style and production technique of art pottery. The marker's mark on the plate indicates it was produced between 1905-1931 in Germany. The jar is signed by Kohl. The jar is in beautiful condition, no chips or cracks with minimal gold loss. * READ ME: the lid is in rough shape, although it has been repaired, it is very unstable. It might not ship well and arrive in pieces but I’ll do my best to secure it. -242976c
