Description: I am David Mattingly, the artist who did most of the Animorphs covers. I did all of the final covers digitally, so there isn’t an original piece of art for the covers. People have been e-mailing me asking if they can buy the originals, but all I have is prints which you can buy at my Etsy store here: AnimorphsArtStoreMy wife and I have been downsizing, and I found in my files some the original artwork I did to get approval for the Animophs covers from Scholastic. I would do pencil drawings, then either go into the office, or FAX them my sketches, and they would give me comments and have me produce the final digital covers. I thought some Animorphs fans might be interested in owning those pencil drawing on paper, with a little bit of white gouache, a finely ground tempera paint. I also had FAXes from Scholastic with cover descriptions. I am including everything I had for each covers, including one sketch for Animorphs 44 (I don't like to cut the sheets up.) This includes the pencil drawings I did for the figures on the cover.
