There are small chips on the paint along the buttress handles. The finial is a green glass ball set on a metal cup. The body and metal base mount as one piece is 14 1/2" tall; the pole/shaft adds at least another 14" to the height. It is 10" wide measured with the handles; the lamp weighs over 10 lbs.
