Description: Research indicates that there were only 2 Ford promo models available for 1968 (Galaxie & Thunderbird) so promos may have been somewhat forgotten for the 1969 model year. As I understand it the 1969 Ford promo models were not available in stores, only from dealers. Also, the 1969 Mach 1 was reportedly not on the order sheet from Ford. The only way for a dealer to get them was to order everything on the promo order list so they were surprised to find the Mach 1 when the ordered shipment arrived. Thus unavailable in stores, relatively few dealers got them, and even less having survived the past 54 years! I bought this model about 9 years ago and it’s time for it to go to a new home, unfortunately I have some personal circumstances and i unfortunately have to let it go, BUT for the right price, will not sell cheap i know what i have! It has always been displayed in my Enclosed Display case, and it’s in great condition considering it’s 54 years old! Many were damaged and destroyed and not many have survived! It has typical light scratches but nothing major, it’s really hard to tell. Driver’s side A pillar has been repaired. Please look at pictures extremely closely and carefully before buying. No returns or refunds. Keep in mind this promo model is 54 years old without box so there are some light scratches but honestly not bad considering it’s 54 years old! Please look at pictures closely.
