Description: In researching the Broken Dishes quilt pattern we found that it is an old pattern - one of the oldest, which makes sense: It is made entirely of sewn-together triangles. Brilliant in its simplicity and simple in its brilliance. Stories about the Broken Dishes pattern say that it represents the broken dishes left by settlers on their way west, but we doubt this to be true. This quilt is beautifully made, with perfect pieces and lots of great quilting. Every side of every triangle that makes up our Broken Dishes quilt has been hand quilted. Another thing about this quilt: by daylight or under lamplight it's completely gorgeous. We love it! If you have strikes against you, there is a further delay. We ship after funds are released to us. Return Policy: There are no refunds. If you would like to EXCHANGE an item, you may do so within three (3) business days from the date of receipt. HOWEVER, YOU MAY NOT RETURN ITEMS FOR EXCHANGE VIA THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. The USPS has lost items, without recourse. So again, we do not allow returns via the USPS. If you are exchanging an item, it must be returned in original condition to qualify for an exchange. In the rare case you wish to exchange an Amish Spirit item you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Exchange shipments must be initiated within three (3) business days from date of receipt of goods, and, returned via UPS or FedEx. (No USPS accepted.) A credit towards the purchase of another item – excluding seller fees, insurance and shipping costs – will be applied to a replacement item of equal value. Should you chose to exchange your original purchase for an item of greater value, you will be invoiced and responsible for paying the difference.
