It does have some weight to it.Amethyst stones have been used since the Egyptian times for protection against negative spirits and energy.They are also believed to bring peace and clarity as well as protection.The stainless steel chain measures 18" long, choker size.It has a lobster claw closure.A statement piece of jewelry.
