An interesting document. Not dated, but probably Massachusetts, 1860s or 1870s. “Whereas Lucius P. Thomson & wife have this day deeded by quitclaim the Thomson Home Farm in Weybridge to Wallace J. Thomson of Waltham and whereas we have a mortgage on said farm from said Lucius for our support, maintenance + as is more fully explained in said mortgage now we consent to said conveyance and accept the said Wallace J. Thomson instead of Lucius Thomson and will look to said Wallace for our support + depend upon him the same as we were depending on said Lucius - Julius Thomson - Hester Ann Thomson”.
