Description: AMAZING vintage Native American, Larry Moses Begay, large sterling silver and turquoise hand-crafted pendant with southwestern artisan crafted sterling silver, turquoise and red spiny oyster necklace. This gorgeous necklace is 19” long and weighs 90.8 grams. The pendant is 3” in diameter, slightly domed outwards and is beautifully sawtooth bezel set with a plethora of turquoise cabochons separated with fine sterling silver rope detail. The back of this pendant is hammered sterling silver with a hidden bail and pin attachment. The pin, itself, was removed at some point. This wonderful pendant is signed, “LMB”, “Sterling” and hangs on an artisan crafted necklace that is strung on strong jeweler’s flex wire with beautiful turquoise in large rounds, nuggets, rondelles and slices alternating with red spiny oyster rondelles and vintage Native American sterling silver bench beads. It is finished with a large, ornate lobster clasp. The necklace was made specifically to go with this very special pendant. The bench beads are vintage and have pleasing, subtle engraved detail. All of the silver in this necklace, including the pendant, beads and clasp, has been professionally tested as solid sterling silver.
