Description: Sheffield Lab 12-inch 33 RPM LP # LAB-15 is "West of Oz" by Amanda McBroom & Lincoln Mayorga. It is stereo and dated 1981. It is also a DJ or preview copy, labeled as a "direct disc recording limited edition", and sleeved in a plain white cover with a label identifying it as a "special CES preview edition" distributed at the Consumer Electronics Show in Chicago, presumably the show held at McCormick Place in June, 1981. The record looks to be in about VG+ condition, still beautifully shiny, and very little visible surface wear of any significance. I've played both sides on my Audio-Technica turntable, with no skips or jumps, and mostly just lightly audible background noise, but some occasional pops and clicks, and a few passages of light ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment. The cover is in used and worn condition, with the top seam partially split and the side seam either repaired or reinforced with tape. Otherwise, just typical light surface rubbing and edge wear, and it comes with a plain white inner sleeve.
