Aluminum MOPAR 2780970 Water Neck Thermostat Housing - 426 Hemi

Description: OEM Mopar Aluminum 1960's and 1970's Thermostat Housing / Water Neck / Water Elbow for 416 Hemi and 440 Big Block motors / engines as shown. It has manufacturer's stamping of 2780970 and ??-10. This should work on a variety of vehicles (i.e. Coronet, Super Bee, Road Runner, GTX, Super Bird, R/T, Charger, Challenger, Cuda, Barracuda, Satellite, etc). It may work on other years and other models. You will need to verify this for yourself and that it fits your application. This is an original part that is straight out of the blast cabinet, but there is pitting, especially where the hose was connected, on the inside, and base. What you see is bare metal which should make the prep for paint easier. This would be a great item to finish off that restoration, hot rod, or rat rod.
