Description: Allow your ARB-704 (or our even better RBI-1) interface to accept TWO radios to key your amp. The perfect accessory for using either radio to key your amplifier! This listing is for our Radiodan TWO radio to key ONE amplifier box that will allow you to use EITHER of TWO radios to ONE amplifier Radios must switch to ground, amplifier must need a DC ground to activate (no AC operated T/R relays). Amplifier must use the (most common) positive voltage on the center of its relay jack. If in doubt carefully measure the polarity of the relay jack on your amplifier. It should be a positive voltage on the center and chassis ground for negative of your voltmeter. There is no buffer inside this box, it's purpose is to allow either of your 2 radios to key your amplifier. If your amplifiers relay control voltage or current is beyond what your radio can switch, then you need an interface like the Radiodan RBI series Each radio's key line voltage is isolated from the other radios key line voltage, this product is MORE than a simple "Y" (a simple "Y" would put each radios keying circuit in parallel and would not be healthy for your radios!) Box color MAY be BLACK or GRAY (depending on what we have in stock) Your radios amplifier keying lines must switch low (to ground) on transmit normally to key your amplifier (or your interface box like our RBI-1 series) An amplifier keying line that goes to ground on transmit is the common normal way radios will key an amplifier How to use? Connect the RCA plug into your amplifier "RELAY" jack (or an interface like the Radiodan RBI series), then plug EACH of your radio amplifier keying outputs to the RCA jacks on the box. When you key EITHER radio, the amplifier will be keyed.
