Description: ALFRED TENNYSON'S COMPLETE WORKS WITH QUEEN MARY ILLUSTRATED ANTIQUE 1876 PUBLISHED: 1876 This antique book is in fair to good condition for an 1876 antique book, the cover is quite bright with some minor rubbing and edge wear, the pages are sharp and clear with minimal browning, pages 467-470 are completely loose from the binding while they are still attached to each other though, other than these pages the binding is tight, on the inside board is an old inscription from 1877 as shown: See picture: … “Presented....as a reward for good spelling and refined manners'”......the tissue at the title page picture is torn/missing a part of tissue as shown, not finding any other writing or markings, nice illustrations. Overall it is truly a wonderful antique copy of Tennyson's works.
