Description: It's amazing that this WWII era paper souvenir has survived in reasonable vintage condition all these years. Measuring a little over 13" square, the textured paper was likely designed as a table decoration or maybe even a napkin for a very special party in 1944 honoring WWII veterans of the Aleutian Campaign and Battle of Attu. The colorful paper decoration dubs this the "First Party in the United States" and lists a menu of fried chicken and cold beer. More info on the paper says "C" Company Party, Fourth United States Infantry, Fort Benning, Georgia, Victory Lodge. The date listed is 23 June 1944, and another note says "Music by 222nd Army Band." There are no tears to the paper; there is some age darkening. Someone folded this souvenir and very carefully stored it away. Please look closely at the photos and email me with questions. I pack carefully and ship same or next business day from Arkansas with free tracking. Satisfaction guaranteed or money cheerfully refunded.
