The aim of designer Richard Sapper was to create a kettle that would please more than one sense. The sculptural kettle 9091 is made of mirror-polished stainless steel, and the undulating handle is black polyamide. The whistle part can be lifted off the spout with the mechanism located under the handle.Launched in 1982, the kettle 9091 was Alessi’s first design kettle and can be found in the collections of numerous design museums.
