To avoid the harsh piercing whistle normally produced by water kettles, Sapper gave the 9091 kettle a melodic whistle made of brass into which two tuners– that reproduce the musical notes 'Mi' (E) and 'Ti' (B) – are inserted. When steam comes out…the two tuners create a short but utterly captivating melody.
