ABOUT PACKAGING All our Alchemy Gothic Rings come in an Alchemy Gothic pouch. All our rings were on display in our now closed gift shop. I have sized all the rings with a jeweller’s ring gauge (UK Sizes) and relabelled the size on the pouch when necessary. A few of the Swarovski tags that were on the rings came off in the shop and are missing. Alchemy Gothic only use Swarovski crystals for their jewellery so rest assured that the gemstone is genuine Swarovski. Aurum Mortis Latin, meaning 'golden death' with skull charms and rose pearl. Lord of the Flies A beautifully hideous, giant, black-bronzed fly in disgusting detail, contrasting its silver-polished pewter wings, beset with Swarovski crystals. Mori Noir Symbolism: 'Momento Mori' means 'Remember you will die', and the phrase has been used since antiquity to remind people of their mortality. The use of the phrase is thought to have originated in ancient Rome where, during an official Triumph, a victorious Roman general must have a slave stand behind him in his chariot repeating the phrase 'Momento Mori'. This was to remind him that although glorious today, he was but a mere mortal. Made in the Art Deco style, the handmade English Pewter ring features a central black cabochon encircled by contrasting clear, diamond-cut Swarovski crystals.
