We have edited and arranged them into separate categories: Alaskans, Mammals, Birds, Wildflowers etc., and these categories are sometimes broken down into small categories (i.e., "Mammals", for example, is broken down into Caribou" "Dall Sheep", "Wolf" etc). With this method of arrangement, a viewer will be at an advantage when seeking out information on certain species of wildlife, wildflowers or possibly which salmon recipe to try out for tonight's dinner. Therefore, it is possible to merely consult the index instead of haphazardly thumbing through the book and following the natural sequence in which we did the drawings, painting and photographs to illustrate this sketchbook. Again, we have tried to put together a book that would hopefully not only be informative and interesting, but would also be of some instructional value to young or novice artists.Patti and I truly love Alsaska.
