Description: The highly influential, landmark instrumental album Renaissance of the Celtic Harp, by the Breton harpist Alan Stivell (with numerous other musicians). Issued in 1971 on Philips Records / Applause no. 6414 406. Playing time approx 38 minutes. Side 1 comprises 4 tracks (Ys / Marvin Pontkalleg / Extracts from Welsh manuscripts / Eliz Iza), whilst Side 2 is one single track (Gaeltacht) comprising 11 folk themes from Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man. The vinyl disc is in immaculate condition, with no visible marks, scratches or other damage whatsoever. Although I no longer have the means to play this album to check it, my recollection is that there are no audible defects. It was bought by me in 1978 and has been played only a few times (having been taped for in-car listening) and has been carefully stored unused for over 35 years. The high gloss laminated sleeve is in immaculate condition, with no damage evident whatsoever (apart from a small thumb crease on the front which is barely visible). If sent through the post, the album will be very carefully packaged, but to minimise any risk collection would also be welcome (Knighton, Powys).
