It has been in a warehouse since then!! Each is Matted and ready to frame, with Studio Seals and a Charles Scott Gallery Certificate of Authenticity Animated cartoons and features used to be created by hand - each and every frame. And most of this artwork was simple meant to be used and thrown away - so much of it is quite rare - and all of it is unique! Buying animation art allows you to own a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Some were used in earlier stages of production and some can be seen on-screen!Aladdin was part of the Disney Renaissance, with the feature releasing in 1992. Disney released a sequel, “The Return of Jafar” direct to video in 1994 and this is from that movie! The TV show that ran from 1994-1995 takes place right after the events that happen in this movie. This is a rare cel and TWO drawings - in that they have the main characters listed above! The cel has been placed on a color print background. The cel and the drawings have the Walt Disney seal and each measure approximately 9" x 10.5" under the matting. NOTE: All three pieces have remnant edge tape from previous mounting that is completely hidden by our matting. COA has some wear from being in the sleeve for decades. The reflections on the matted view are just from our scanner!These pieces had to be removed from the original frame and matting as prepared for sale at the Walt Disney stores, as the frame was damaged with age. So, we have placed each piece in a brand new mat...We will mount each piece in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork. NOTE: in most cases we have not yet mounted the art in a mat, so if you wish to have us leave it unmounted let us know IMMEDIATELY when you make the purchase, as we will often mat it within minutes.
