He is 42, a prince by virtue of being a son of the late Kyembambe, King of Toro, a state in Uganda, & a doctor by virtue of a Ph. D he took at Oxford in 1940. Starting in 1924, he spent several years at Howard University. He entered Yale Graduate School in 1931. A novel of his entitled "The Story of An African Chief," was published by Scribner's, after being discovered by William Lyon Phelps in 1934.
