Description: Akai gx260d reel to reel. I have here a beautiful machine that I have had for 12 years. Utilize in many recordings, just had this beauty refurbished on the inside, a complete tune up, new belts, motors in excellent shape. Demagnetized the heads. I tested the product once returned to me, excellent! Tap Electronics did the work on the reel to reel, like they did on my other Akai I’m selling out there. Looking to sell to a new owner that would appreciate fine products. (The take up reel and supplied side reel are not included in this sale. Only for photos and to let you know folks this machine works!) Incudes the service manual, the dust cover is in B to B + shape, my opinion of course. No cracks or pieces missing. Not too bad considering the age. This machine is very heavy, so you can imagine the weight in this unit base on cost. Tap Electronics will be handling the shipping.
