Description: This is the left hand - supply side - brake band from an Akai GX-260D reel to reel tape deck in good working condition as pictured. Included are the parts shown, some with slight surface corrosion, and mounting hardware including screws, circlip, and spring. This may fit other Akai models but I am no expert on these. I was given this deck by a co-worker whose husband had bought it new, but the power cord was cut off when I got it. It appears to have been very lightly used. My thought was to have it repaired, but I'm not an RTR enthusiast so I've decided to part it out. The heads have been sold, but at the time of this posting nearly everything else is available. The faceplates are all in clean, unmarked condition, but I have no way to test the electronics. If there is anything you need, I'm happy to create a Buy-It-Now for reasonable offers.
