If required, data can be viewed in real time by connecting the EVO4S to the GS-Dash or to the Formula 3 steering wheel. Connections: Available with a choice of ECU connection. These being either OBDII or CAN, depending on whether you want to connect to the vehicles ECU using the OBDII port, or directly to the ECU through the CAN connection for a direct installation to the ECU. A wide range of sources for your data: EVO4S samples all the information you need: data coming from the Engine Control Unit (ECU) via CAN, RS232 or K-line, from the internal accelerometer and gyro, from the included GPS09 module which permits automatic and precise lap time calculations. There are a choice of GPS09 modules available - car/bike with 0.5, 1.3, 2.0 or 4.0m cable, or a "Roof" version with 2.0 or 4.0m cable, specifically designed for easy installation on covered cars or on bike fairings (with the cable connecting from the underneath of the module). Specific connection/installation kits are available for many sports bikes. Add additional sensors:5 analogue channels with configurable 12 bit 0-5 Volt, 0-500 mV, 0-50 mV inputs or thermocouple input, used to sample data coming from temperature, pressure, suspension and other kinds of sensors.2 speed inputs, which allow you to monitor the different wheels behaviours. 1 RPM input, which manages square wave signals transmitted by the ECU, or pulse signals picked from the coil command (low voltage).Internal three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor: A built-in inertial platform lets you have the most powerful system for understanding oversteering, understeering, banking, etc.Digital output: EVO4S features a 1 amp at 12 volts digital output.
