AFX Roarin' Rolls "Golden Ghost" Body Only HO AURORA Model Motoring #1781 NOS

Description: For this listing we offer one (1) Slot Car Black & White Body Shell: AFX Roarin Rolls "Golden Ghost" Body Shell "Only" by Aurora. AFX Aurora Model Motoring Part # 1781. Made from 1973--1977. New Old Stock. The AFX Rolls is a one piece molded body and is the first car to use the new specially modified AFX 4 Gear chassis. The chassis has super size rear wheels and tires, along with a four gear drive train arrangement. The front grill is gold plated with a winged "golden ghost" on it. The wing are frequently broken (Not on this body, Wings are good). The rear has a gold plated bumper, twin parachutes, and a single wheelie bar and wheel. The wheelie bar is almost always broken or missing (this body is new and has all the small items). This body uses the AFX SPECIALTY 4 GEAR CHASSIS (not included) by AFX AURORA Model Motoring T-Jet HO Scale by Aurora Plastics Corp., 1/64 scale, HO scale, Made from 1973--1977. My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era. The items I am listing are in most cases, near new or gently used. I have taken many pictures to show every angle and have tried to describe all features and/or flaws to the best of my ability.
