Description: This listing is for a carved soapstone hippopotamus figurine. The dark brown reclining carved hippo shows nice detail and expression. It measures approximately 5-1/4" by 4-1/2" by 2". It is in very good condition. There is some roughness in the stone on the back side and you will see several white chips. These white chips are superficial and are mainly a loss of color.
