Aeroflex IFR FM/AM-500 Communication Service Monitor Tested

Description: This auction is for an Aeroflex / IFR FM/AM-500 been recently tested and appears to be fully operational. The unit is being sold as for parts or not working due to the age and possible wear on the controls and switches. Please note this is a FM/AM-500 which is slightly different from the 500A in that it did not include some of the functions. The Service and Operation manuals available online cover both versions. Unit covers up to 1Ghz for FM, AM & SSB Receive modulation. Please refer to the data sheet for exact specifications which is available online. Auction includes accessories AC Cord , Complete with all screws and feet but missing the handle and the attenuator knob is non-factory. Note: front cover NOT included and the internal battery has been removed as well. ( front cover is one that IFR used on a number of Avionics and GPS test products. ) Unit tested on both DC and AC operation and the battery charger function verified as part of the calibration with a battery load simulator. Note some wear and noise on the controls may be typical for units of this age. This unit was primarily a bench unit and the handle and front cover removed to optimize bench space.
