Description: Adventures Of Hawkshaw By Gus Mager 1917 Press Publishing Co. New York World. This is a very interesting item. The binding and front and back cover are in decent condition for being over 100 years old. There are no loose pages but definitely some wear on the edges. However at some point a budding artist decided to use the back of all of the pages as sketch paper, so there are sketches and watercolors done throughout the book in what I would estimate to be either the 1920s or 1930s. The integrity of the comic pages wasn't altered too much by the drawings, although there is an occasional watercolor mark on some of the pages. I can provide more photos upon request.
