Adventure (Atari 2600, 1980) CGC 8.5 A++ New Factory Sealed TRUE 1st Print!

CGC Video Games graded this title 8.5 A++ Details: Alright, so we all know how important of a game this is - but how often do you see a TRUE first print, especially factory sealed. How is it a first print you say? Other copies say 1978 on the back and this one says 1980? Little trick to know - when Atari removed the warranty text box on the back of their boxes (see Adventure here, there is a MASSIVE blurb about the warranty and service agreement) - the went to a fairly generic blank back, had a new die created for the boxes (some added a built-in hanger that would be glued down in place, some didn't, but mostly they did sometime in 1981 and beyond). Prior to that in 1980 released games, they had this massive text box. Later prints added white coloring and changed the text to black and then it was removed altogheter. Any who. This is a first print Adventure. check out video game variations dot com click on atari and get lost in the massive research of atari 2600 box variants. You'll want to gouge your eyes out. So with that all said - how many of these are there out there? Very few in factory sealed condition. Wata has graded 1 in a 9.0 A+ - they denote this on their pop report as "service agreement text". if you look at this copy, it has that text inside the warranty box. I would venture to say CGC hasn't graded any others but this one. So. This is it.
