Benjamin has an Advent calendar and each night, he opens one door on the calendar and his mother tells him a little story related to the picture inside. Each story is about an unnamed little bear (who has different coloring from Benjamin), shown in the large illustrations facing each story. Some of the stories are about values, others have a religious slant and one is about Santa.
