Description: This is an Admiralty Chart 2661A China Sea - Northern Portion - Western Sheet. Featuring Vietnam, the Gulf of Tonkin and China- Guangdong and Hainan. Also the Paracel islands and the Macclesfield Bank. This chart is a photographically reproduced example issued by the Admiralty’s wartime East Indies Chart Production unit in 1945. Engraved in 1882 This is the 1913 Edition printed with the last update of 1943. The chart has been professionally manually updated to 1946. Paper size is 70cm x 103cm It has one center fold. Please inspect the four quarter pictures to get an accurate measure of condition. Let me know if you would like more detailed photos of any portion of the chart The chart is original with only written updates and has not been cleaned or restored. The chart has no tears, it has evidence of pencil writing but it is difficult to see. There are several light small discolored spots, I have pictured the worst one, and some creases at the end of the fold. Chart will be sent in a 10cm tube rolled along the folding edge.
