Stainless steel inlet strainer screen filters out debris to prevent clogging. Please add a layer of gauze in front of the filtration inlet for a newly drilled well that may contain excessive granular sediment. Easy installation: Premium mechanical seal prevents water leakage effectively and provides long service life for this irrigation pump. It's compatible with a pressure tank and pressure switch (both not included) and can work as a pressure booster pump. Rustproof 1-1/4" NPT discharge with built-in check valve is easy to install and maintain. Please install extra check valves at outlet pipe to prevent flowback. Safe operation: Thermally protected motor will prevent the pump from overheating and burning. 10ft copper power cord comes with splice kit for easy and secure connection. This deep well pump has a small footprint and must be fully submerged in water when used. Please don't run the pump dry.
