Now comes the problem that some recovery owners face, there is simply not enough room to screw on a pre-filter and then your hose, or you have to use a expensive male x female pre-filter. This kit takes care of both of those problems. It uses a STANDARD 1/4 x 1/4 male filter, actually, you can use ANY size filter as long as it is 1/4" male flare. The extension hose that COMES WITH this kit allows for some room between the recovery unit inlet and the pre-filter.
