Description: The item for sale here is an original AAMCO Aeromaster 'TOO' Full Kit to build the latest version of Lou Andrews’ very popular Aeromaster Biplane. As with the more recent Great Planes Super Aeromaster, this kit lets you choose from three biplane wing configurations: 1) both 48” upper and lower straight wings; 2) 52-1/2” swept upper wing with 48” straight lower wing; or 3) both 52-1/2 inch swept upper and lower wings.An extra feature added to this Aeromaster 'TOO' kit is the Great Planes Super Aeromaster Cowl and Wheel Pants kit. With this kit you can build the model to have the same round cowl, reshaped front end, and molded wheel pants that Great Planes added to Andrews’ design when they re-released it as their Super Aeromaster. This conversion kit provides the round plastic cowl and also the additional plywood nose rings, balsa stringers, balsa sheeting, and detailed instructions for modifying the front end of the fuselage to accept the cowl and provide space for installation and operation of 4-cycle engines up to 1.2 cu-in. Likewise the GP update kit includes the instructions and additional plywood and hardware items needed to install the plastic wheel pants in place of the carved wooden ones of the original kit.The kit for sale is complete and virtually untouched. The single minor exception is the very minimal initial assembly of the five rear fuselage formers. As shown in the photos the two half-former pieces supplied for each of these have been cemented together and 3 cross-braces fastened to each one.The kit contents and box cover are in exceptionally good condition for the age of the kit. There’s some minor shelf wear and some tape residue on the box, but it’s clean and undamaged. It’s always been stored in dry conditions with no smoke, pets or other odors. For shipping, the kit box will be enclosed and sealed within a separate outer box (double-boxed) for protection. If you’d like more information about the kit, such as build requirements and rationale for the different wing and fuselage configurations, PDF evaluation copies of the plans and instructions for both the original Aeromaster 'TOO' and the later GP Super Aeromaster can easily be found on-line. Any components and materials identified in the plans and instructions as ‘optional’, ‘accessories’, ‘recommended’, or ‘needed to complete’ were not included in this kit and are not part of this sale.The kit does not include any engine, propeller, fuel tank, exhaust, wheels, servos, batteries or other electrical or electronic equipment or components.
