Description: A superb Shelley Art Deco "Primula" 12418 Regent shape tea trio. C.1935. Pattern No 12418 Primula: Black print. Pink and blue flowers with green leaves. Pale green trim and ring handle. Pink fading to white on cup interior. White ground. Entered into pattern book during or after 1935. The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. The shape of this trio is the Regent shape which was produced between 1930 & 1962. Dimensions: diameter of cup base 45mm (1.75 inches) / diameter across top of cup 88mm (3.5 inches) / height of cup 69mm (2.75 inches) / diameter of saucer 140mm (5.5 inches) / side plate 161mm (6.4 inches). Condition: All 3 pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching, rubbing or signs of wear. All paintwork is in very good order with no fading to the pattern. All 3 pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
