Description: A Shelley Art Deco "Stile & Rose" 074 Regent shape tea trio. C.1938. Ideal China / Canadian teaware pattern No 074 Stile & Rose: Orange flowers with trees and a wooden stile. Orange trim and ring handle. White ground. The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. The shape of this trio is the Regent shape which was produced between 1930 & 1962. Dimensions: diameter of cup base 45mm (1.75 inches) / diameter across top of cup 88mm (3.5 inches) / height of cup 69mm (2.75 inches) / diameter of saucer 140mm (5.5 inches) / diameter of side plate 176mm (7 inches). Condition: All 3 pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or rubbing. 1 tiny underglaze grit mark to side plate. All paintwork is in very good order with no fading to the pattern. All 3 pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
