Description: POMM “Is that her real name?,” people always ask. “Yes,” Pomm explains. Her mother, born in Paris, read a novel by the French author Colette in which one of the characters was a little girl named Pomme, which means apple in French. (The “e” was dropped to ensure correct pronunciation in the U.S.) The peaceful moments and beautiful colors of Pomm’s work have been inspired by her bi- cultural upbringing. While in Europe, she found she loved the old world architecture and feeling, particularly the southern regions of France known for abundant sun and flowers. Pomm’s work has been seen all over the U.S., in Europe and Japan. She is a member of the National Watercolor Society as well as The Watercolor West Society. Collectors of her work include Kirstie Alley, David Hasselhof and Priscilla Presley. "A Perfect Moment" Pomm Fine Art Giclee Print "I love doors and windows," Pomm says, "as they have so much character and there are so many different ones to paint. They are an invitation to look inside or go outside. In all my paintings I try to create the feeling of life, as if someone was just there." 27-1/2" by 18-1/2" Image Size, Limited to 450, signed by the artist - $200 All Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered (S/N) by the artist and include a Certificate of Authenticity. Limited Edition prints are restricted to a certain number. For example, if 400 prints are made from an original painting, once they’re gone, that’s it. There is no limit to the number of open edition prints of a particular painting. That’s why Limited Edition prints are more expensive — and more valuable to collectors — than "open" edition. Rare objects are more valuable. The term "giclee" denotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries. Gallery wrap is a method of displaying art wrapped around the sides and secured to the back of the wooden frame. There are no visible fasteners (e.g., staples or tacks). It is a finished product that is intended to be hung unframed. Authorized Greenwich Workshop Dealer All Limited Edition artwork is subject to availability at time of order.
