Description: Offering a fine pair of massive heavily carved corbels. These were purchased at an antique sale which had many European antiques. The nails that were removed over 30 years ago were early square nails (almost like pegs) which were made in a foundry and not something you could purchase in a modern hardware store. Dimensions are in the photos. These each weigh approximately 25 pounds. One corbel shows some split warpage that can likely be clamped or pegged. I leave that to the new owner. This was likely caused by Arizona's dry weather even though these were in room temperature storage. They were used years ago to support a large shelf in a two-story home that was filled with antiques. There are hanging cushioned wall mounts in the back. LISTED SHIPPING NOT ACCURATE: I use Pirate (UPS) discount shipping service which is the most economical fully insured way to ship. Pirate’s rates are better than regular UPS shipping rates and are the exact same reliable service. THE ESTIMATED COST TO SHIP THIS ITEM is approximately $200.00. Please be aware that the shipping amount you may see in the listing is only a guess-estimate posted by eBay and NOT accurate. There is no way to calculate accurate insured shipping until the auction is over and your destination, final auction price (for insurance purposes) and weight of package are known. If you have questions, please ask them well before the auction ends. No discounts on shipping, buyer pays only ACTUAL shipping. I do not charge for packing materials or handling. I can do combined shipping to save you some money. I will ship some items internationally including Taiwan. If Buy-It-Now requires payment of any listed shipping amount, any deviation can be adjusted later by a refund or additional invoice.
