Description: Pair (2) rare and lovely vintage A. Gross Candle Co. cobalt blue and brass altar or church candle holders, stands and tops. Produced in Baltimore, MD in the 1930's. The detailed brass stands bear the name A. Gross Candle Co., Inc., Patent Applied For. The cobalt blue glass candle holders have three grooves that fit specifically into the brass stands. The ventilated top fits over the glass candle holder. Each of the entire 3-piece units measure approximately 14" high. The heavy brass stands feature three feet with figural faces. They bear patina, as do the tops. These are extremely heavy pieces and will be packaged separately; shipping reflects allowances for weight, bulk and extra protective packaging.
