Description: This 1995 Marin Muirwoods is one of the prettiest bikes I've ever re-homed. Other than the imperfections (which I'll get into shortly) this bike has the most well-preserved accents (purple in this case) I've ever seen on a vintage MTB. The paint overall is amazing. Decals are complete, clear and undamaged. It's remarkable! Which makes it all the more ironic that a few bits of surface rust, mainly on the top tube and some of the cable stops, rain on this bike's parade (so to speak.) If you're OK with a little patina, by all means, keep reading! The colorway looks like a silver to me, with the aforementioned purple accents still absolutely POPPING, especially the fork. There is very little storage damage that I can see. There was a kickstand installed and it did scrape the paint and those areas should be dealt with but it's nothing serious. I did my best to deal with the surface rust but honestly didn't get too far and decided to quit before I made things any worse. I've never included accessories with a frame before, but given the branding and coloring of the ones on this bike, I knew I had to make them available. If you do not want any of the following bits, message me and I'll tell you how much I'll take off the price: - Stem (small bit of rust/peeling paint, sadly)- Water Bottle Cage- Seat Post (hard to find 27.0 mm size and oh so shiny)- Handlebar (580mm, steel) Measurement-wise, I believe this to be a 20.5" model, as that is the center of axle to top of seat tube distance. Center of axle to center of top tube is 18.5" and the top tube itself is 22.25". The headset is 1-1/8" and will surely need new grease. 100/135mm spacing of course. The frame is made of a special blend of triple-butted Tange Cr-Mo. The Chainstay is nearly perfect. Check out those Marin stamped dropouts! This gorgeous bike is ready for you to give a little love and build up! Finally, for a better understanding of the bike's overall condition, PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE and see the MANY PHOTOS I HAVE INCLUDED BELOW, RIGHT IN THE LISTING, IN ADDITION TO THE 24 THAT EBAY NOW ALLOWS! I want you to know what you're getting! "WILL THIS BIKE FIT ME?" Please refer to the LAST IMAGE in the set above, it's a handy chart I found on the excitebikes.com website. It provides some information to help you decide if this frame is right for you. Bike fit is unique to each rider, and so this information is provided as a guideline only. Please consult a local bike shop before purchasing if you are unsure! About the shipping: please know, I do not mark up shipping, I charge whatever eBay's system tells me. The cost to get it to you is a function of two things: 1) the size of the box I have available to ship it, and 2) your distance from New Jersey. Thanks for understanding! That about does it. If by chance you need any components to complete your build, please let me know. If you have questions about the frame, please ask before bidding. ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS - welcome to eBay! I'd love to provide your first positive rating. Just message me before bidding, mmmmmm-kay? Thanks! Item sold used "as is". No warranties, implied or otherwise. Auction winner assumes all liabilities and must be based in the USA - no international buyers. Sorry but I cannot ship this frame outside the continental USA, and I will not ship to a freight forwarder either. Why? Because eBay says that I no longer have any seller protections if a freight forwarder is utilized. Thanks for understanding! I take great pride in the way I pack frames for shipment. I have to use new cardboard boxes from Amazon ($8-$12 each) because my local bike shops can't always provide me with boxes in the sizes I need. Smaller frames ship with forks removed (if present), rear triangle blocked with wood, and lots, lots, LOTS of crumpled up newspaper to ensure the frame doesn't move around inside. Larger frames also ship with the rear triangle blocked with wood, and with any fork still attached. I use cardboard bracing in several key spots (front and rear brake bosses, bottom bracket, rear dropouts) along with heavy-duty zip ties to ensure the frame does not move around once the box is closed. The process is tedious but the results are worth it, as my past customers will attest! Finally, Check my feedback and bid with confidence. I ship *FAST* and don't sell JUNK!TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By placing a bid or using buy it now the buyer agrees to the following terms and conditions: Every effort has been made by the seller to inspect, photograph and accurately describe this item's condition, however all items are sold AS-IS.
