Looks likes some bending of metal under pendant, Perhaps for cleaning gemstone? or even for space for stone.?Does not effect setting since stone kind of peeks out the bottom and not flush with bezel. Stone has lots of Purple Green and Blue hues shining through There is a Titanium coating on the bottom of each stone,Which makes it a permanent coating and preserves the colors of the stones and makes them more durable. Every stone is flawless on top, with slight wear on the bottoms. I cannot tell the age but can say it needed lots of deep cleaning (I did not make the dents, I used small brushes) Very ornate and a rare find fancy bezel with large Mystic TopazThe Topaz measures 20 mm x 15 mm x 10 mm tall which adds to approx. 15.03 ct.Pendant measures 1 1/2 inches plus 1/4 inch swivel bail for necklace chain.Weight for Pendant is 12.47 gm.
