The item was manufactured in the United States like the vintage wood cutters from the early '90's. This fellow was made from an antique German mold that I was lucky enough to find some years ago. He wears a peach color faded coat and pants are molded then painted blue. He opens up to reveal a container with Dresden trim. His face is paper-mache and painted to look stern such as the antiques from long ago....yet his price is more reasonable than the ones that have been listed recently for hundreds of dollars...he sports a real rabbit fur beard to make him as much like the originals as I could possibly could. He carries a real goose feather sprig in his right hand and a tiny handmade jester peeks out of his pocket.... and he will definitely bring a touch of nostalgia to any home and add much to your antique collections.
