Description: This beautiful hand-woven saddle blanket is made by Navajo Indians using traditional methods. It showcases their rich cultural heritage and expert craftsmanship, making it a perfect addition to any collection. The rug is a stunning example of Native American art and culture, and is in excellent shape for its age. Its quality is a testament to the skill of the weavers who created it, and it is sure to be treasured for years to come. This piece is a must-have for collectors of Native American art and textiles. The blanket is very tightly woven and was entirely woven by Navajo Indians in Arizona, using 100% wool. The wool was washed, dyed and corded by Navajo women. Made for the Ed Harris Trading Company its guaranteed by Indian Traders, licensed by the United States Department of Interior, Indian Arts and Crafts Board. The blanket measures 29.5 by 28 1/4. Contains green, purples, white, black, and reddish orange colors. It also has an L and an F on it but since its reversible it could be an F and an L. Please see the picture with the paper tag still attached so it hasn't been used but stored for the past 87 years. There are some wear areas on it, which I tried to capture all the flaws in the accompany photos. Please see all pictures and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
