Description: 82nd Airborne 508th Parachute Infantry Regt. Porcelain Ashtray Bauscher Weiden. CONDITION: Noticeable (what looks to be a thin tar-like black paint mark) stain underneath the bottom rim (see photos). Did not attempt to clean (could be removed if you know what cleaners to use...which I did not have on hand, nor wish to attempt to fix). Maybe some type of safe dissolver that is SAFE on porcelain. NO CRACKS or other damage to note. Thought to have been manufactured/produced in the late 1940s (late 1946...with also having made matching steins to go with these at the time of release)!!! Manufactured by Bauscher Weiden (marks on reverse). Weight 239 grams
