Description: Lot of 8 Beautiful Matching Vintage Hand Made, Various Shaped Decorative Pottery Pieces, HANOVER, MASSACHUSETTS Souvenirs c.1988 DESCRIPTION: Various scans show all pieces in the lot, but not all shown in one picture.....Lot includes 7 pots and pitchers, etc. (8 pieces all together, including the top to the 2-piece pot shown). All HAND MADE out of clay and beautiful pieces of decorative pottery by themselves. Even more special due to the blue decoration and imprinted name of the Massachusetts town (HANOVER) and its date of incorporation (EST. 1727). All put out by the town AND HERE ARE MANY BEAUTIFUL PIECES FROM THE SERIES!! All together in one collection. EACH PIECE IS HAND MADE AND SIGNED BY THE ARTIST ON THE BOTTOM. A couple of them also have dates on the bottom, in the range of 1988-89. These were put out by the town as part of a commemorative, historical program by the town. Various sizes and shapes, great for decoration or as part of a collection. VERY BEAUTIFUL, especially as a small collection together!! They have a great appearance and have a really nice shape, as shown in the scans. Could be actually be used or simply be decorative or part of a collection. Hope my scans do them justice. Well made and all in excellent condition with no chips or damage. Please note, the "tub" and the plate are not pictured in the overall lot grouping, only the individual pictures.The 8 pieces include the 2-piece covered pot, nice curves, ranging in diameter from 5" to 6", 5" high with nice handles on the side; a curved candy dish, ranging in diameter from 4 1/2" to 6 1/2", 3" high; a tapered jar about 4" diameter, 6" high; another different shaped jar or vase, about 4 1/2" diameter by 6 1/2" high; a "tub" about 6 1/2" diameter x 4 1/2" tall; a plate, about 10" diameter; and a cup or small pitcher with handle about 3 1/2" diameter by 4" high.A GREAT LOOKING COLLECTION OF POTTERY PIECES FROM A VERY EARLY EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS TOWN!!!PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!
