Description: Gibson SG Standard 1973 VintageThis guitar has been in my possession since 1978, and has not been a regular gigging guitar. It lived in my office at my recording studio in Auckland and was occasionally used on recording sessions. Hence it is well set-up with low action and perfect intonation. Due to arthritis I cannot play it properly anymore.All electronics and pick-ups are original '73 vintage; both bridge and neck are identical hi-output Gibson humbuckers.Some details are more akin to the SG Custom models; like the beautiful ebony fingerboard, with the block inlays that custom SG's and LP's feature. Also with Gibson-branded machine heads (made by Grover by the look and feel of them) This is the the REAL DEAL ! Angus Young or Carlos Santana would have been a proud owner of something like this in the 1970's.
