We only stock 72 hour UniHeat brand heat packs.One heat pack is required for all winter orders, and you only need one heat pack per order. If you buy too many, we will refund all that are not required.Heat packs add 8 ounces to the package weight, the extra cost for the added weight to your package is included in the price for the heat pack. No additional ship fees are required.If you purchase this item without purchasing plants, we will cancel the order.Plants are perishable and Orchids in general do not ship well below 44 degrees F without some extra warmth in the package. Purchasing this item is not guaranteeing live arrival. For more than 12 years, we have had huge success shipping orchids in winter with this product. This product and some foam in the box make orchid shipping safe down to around the low 20's. We have no control over the post office and cannot be held responsible for postal delays. We only ship to cold weather states on Monday, Tuesday and sometimes Wednesday, Southern states on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. We sometimes hold shipping in particular nasty weeks where weather is causing road delays that affect the postal services ability to deliver on time. If at all possible, in cold weather states, consider having your package held at the local post office for pickup. We stop delivering to Colorado, Utah, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Michigan and all states from New York north in November and resume again in Mid-March.
