Description: Offered here is an antique, small(4-1/2") all bisque doll w/wire joints for arms and legs. The face is nicely painted and her legs are painted with socks w/blue garters, high top brown boots. The back of the head is incised 620 which is the mold number for both Armand Marseille and Bähr & Pröschild, both of these doll makers were located in Thüringia, Germany. The top of the head is open and there is no glue residue which makes me think the doll has never been wigged or clothed. This doll would be suitable to dress as either boy or girl and her nice, small size makes her ideal to pose with larger antique dolls.
